A Manhattan Beach house filled with antiques

by Simona Ganea, posted in Real Estate, on September 11th, 2012

Located on Manhattan Beach, in Brooklyn, New York, this house is a real treasure. Its owners, Gary and Abbe Lasker, have been living here since 1978. Since then, they literary filled this home with antiques and personal memories and treasures. The house has been remodeled several times but it still has its original charm. The renovations done for the house were not entirely successful.

There have been some funny stories along the way but, overall, these stories only gave the home more character. The couple saved considerable money by doing most of the work themselves. This was not only profitable financially but also beneficial for the original character of the house. As for the interior d?cor, there are many interesting things to analyze there.

Mr. Lasker is a retired antiques dealer and Ms. Lasker an employee at an antiques gallery. As you may imagine, they are both passionate about their work. It?s why they chose to fill their home with beautiful antiques. Their style is eclectic and we can clearly see that in the interior d?cor. This house is full of memories. However, it is now time for it to continue its journey without its owners. The house is now on the market at the price of $1,695,000 and it?s ready to start a new chapter in its existence, to create new memories and to provide cozy shelter for new owners.
